Leah Langford Leah started decorating in 1997, as a hobby after graduating from college at age 36.
She was smitten after the first class. The hobby has grown exponentially in 11 years – and so has Leah’s involvement
in ICES. She joined ICES in 2000, and attended her first Convention in 2001 in Portland, Oregon. There she volunteered
to be the Volunteer Coordinator for the 2005 ICES Show and Convention in New Orleans. She has been involved in some
volunteer capacity with every ICES Show and Convention since that time. In 2002 she was elected West Tennessee Alternate
Rep for the Tennessee Chapter of ICES and served two terms. She then became State Rep in 2006. Leah recently stepped
down as the State Rep in the Spring of 2008, but continues to stay involved with the Tennessee Chapter as the West Tennessee
Alternate Rep. She also continues to stay involved with ICES on a national level, and is the Volunteer Coordinator for the
2011 ICES Show and Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Leah prefers to work in buttercream, and enjoys decorating
birthday cakes and other special event cakes.
